Class Assignment was to take a fictional place and make currency for it *.* I chose avatar and I was honestly really torn between the fire nation and the earth kingdom but in the end kyoshi reigns supreeeeme.
I’d like to think they made this money sometime after toph became head of police but not too far into the future, because some parts were supposed to be metal to prevent counterfeiting.
I hand drew everything but Wan Shi Tong’s actual library background on the back of the bill. Credit for that and Avatar itself goes to Bryke and whoever painted that marvelous scene. All of the patterns were drawn painstakingly by hand and they include earth kingdom symbols and quite a few white lotus signs. I was torn for the back between choosing either Ba Sing Sei, putting the earth king and basco on the bill, or even Omashu featuring a badger mole, but i really enjoyed Wan Shi Tong’s episode so thats why i picked it. Also the interior matched my color scheme rather well.
All in all I’m really pleased with how this turned out I spent so much time on it its ridiculous, plus i got great feedback aside from it printing a lil darker than intended u.u I would have uploaded it bigger for you guys but tumblr was being really weird and started distorting it :S
